“Alex Rose was keynote speaker at our Northern Conference of 150 people – and it was our highest-rated presentation of the three-day program. His presentation followed a successful appearance at the Paris Olympics, his third Olympic competition in discus. Alex interwove business and personal motivational themes for perseverance and self-improvement into his life story as a world-caliber athlete. What was particularly captivating was his use of modern social media, embedding videos into the presentation, which gave it a very contemporary feel. He has a very professional demeanor and is very likeable, as well.”
As a Three-Time Olympian, I have had many ups and downs in my career that I have had to navigate. As a father, husband, and sales engineer I can say the same. In this session I go through different experiences and lessons that I have learned throughout my life- sharing some key moments that I have experienced through photos and videos. I show the audience how I have handled adversity coming from multiple angles, and more importantly how I learned to appreciate the chaos.
The 33-year-old's bronze medal win in Tokyo marks a major milestone for Sāmoa and Pacific athletes on the global stage.
After the men's discus final was suspended for nearly two hours due to torrential rain, the 33-year-old took bronze for the Pacific Island nation behind Daniel Ståhl.
