Brenden Gilbert

Brenden Gilbert is a Tech Field veteran, with 26 years in various technologies across many different companies. What is unique about him: He is a deaf person who uses American Sign Language to communicate, navigating special challenges to be on the same playing field as everyone else. Brenden has been at Meta for 3 years now as a Senior Hardware Engineer specializing in AI/Machine Learning servers for the data center organization. He is also a phenomenal and passionate Accessibility evangelist and advocate for all of Meta’s products and internal company functions, especially with the AR/VR/XR space. In his spare time, he tries to collect all retro game consoles and games, and also travels to interesting places, often on “roads less travelled”.
