“The event was a huge success and Ms. Moraga was a delight to host. The lecture room was packed!! We set up for 250 and had to bring in more chairs. Students found her presentation of the various parts of her multifaceted work accessible and truly moving. There was a long line of people waiting buy her books and have them signed. All the logistics went smoothly. Ms. Moraga had lunch with several faculty and visited a class both of which we appreciated since neither was part of her contract. In short, she was very generous with her time and open to speaking with groups of students. Everyone was impressed with the speaker and the event as a whole.”
