From Cocoon to Soaring: Unstoppable Leaders Take Flight
From the beginning of time the caterpillar has been created to experience a metamorphosis. Each stage represents a formidable part of what the caterpillar must go through in order to develop strong enough wings to fly. Once those wings are formed the butterfly has to learn how to adjust and gain strength before utilizing them to exit the cocoon. This eventually allows for the change from crawling to soaring. Since no two butterflies are the same, and not all become leaders of the pack, there must be a transformational stage when the butterfly takes flight to become a “Monarch” which signifies change, transformation, and hope. It is said that it is very rare to see a monarch.
In this talk the metamorphosis of a female leader is explored, utilizing the stages of the butterfly. In an effort to manifest and become a leading monarch, the leader must be resilient, courageous, and persistent in their pursuit to take flight. The talk will look at the mirage of circumstances, which eventually catapults that leader into becoming fiercely unstoppable with the ability to not just fly, but to soar.

This book, by using Paul’s description of the believer’s fight and weaponry in Ephesians 6:10-18, will take the reader into the author’s own journey, and reveal how God showed up as the covering needed on every avenue.

In 2013 when I wrote Weapons for Victory: Memoirs of a Perfect Storm, the book that inspired this book; I had no idea what would transpire beyond those crucial years. All I knew was that the journey would continue and God would always be with me, no matter where I went. Realizing that I wrote the original book from a place of pain, I revised it in 2022, from a place of victory, which would transition to what my readers will receive now. Every time I have been asked to give a testimony or talk about my life, it has been difficult to put it into a short version. Therefore, these pages are being written as a love letter, to those who will read and gain strength from the reading, both now and in years to come.

Be resolute in allowing Him to use you for such a time as this. I pray healing, restoration, deliverance and blessing on you in this season, as you boldly embrace your QUEENLY ANOINTING.
