This workshop offers the attendees the tools they need to better understand and facilitate supportive and validating dialogue to promote authentic mental health conversations and support someone in their life who needs it. In this workshop, attendees will learn Francesca’s five-step guide to fostering communication that opens the door to honesty, vulnerability, and support:

By the end of this workshop, attendees will have the tools they need to support a loved one who is disclosing their mental health struggles.

Employ nonjudgmental open-ended questions to open a mental health conversation/check-in with your loved one(s).
Produce supportive and validating responses to offer compassion to an individual struggling with their mental health.
