I share briefly how my childhood was, bootcamp, school and then arriving at the Navy ship where I spent 10 months being brutally beaten, raped, and much more. How even living in a area of 140 or so other shipmates, everyone pretended that I wasn’t there, I was called a liar nonstop, never believed, and at 17 years old, how hard and how much that 10 months would shape my life for close to 20 years. How I changed, became an outspoken Advocate on this subject and much more, between fighting my own case and traveling to Washington DC to provide testimony, work on changing laws, and so, so much more. To winning a history making case and being spotlighted in the National media for a few years. To going to military bases across the world to try yo help make an impact on how people react, how they can be the bystander that helps prevent things like what happened to me to others.
