Failure, disappointment and lost hopes/dreams are very common these days, particularly in high tech careers. Brutal job demands, unmet career goals, I-P-NOs. Our relationships suffer as does our sense of fulfillment. This takes a toll on our happiness and well being (and also our immune systems).
