The desire to be understood is universal. When we’re bad at explaining our ideas, we feel frustrated, side-lined, and disconnected. Modern education omits the subject entirely. No wonder most of us struggle with public speaking.

In my talk, we discover how the Ancient Greeks invented and taught speech training. Using Aristotle’s principles of effective speech, I explain three simple techniques for thinking, writing, preparing, and delivering ideas effectively. Participants will leave the session knowing how to put them to work immediately. The talk is half TED-talk, half workshop. It works!
