Munchausen by Proxy Abuse (MBPA), also known as medical child abuse, remains one of the most misunderstood and under-recognized forms of abuse despite its potentially lethal impact. Many professionals will encounter concerning cases throughout their careers without ever receiving formal education on identifying, documenting, or responding to this complex abuse dynamic.

This training explores common warning signs, systemic barriers to recognition, survivor experiences, ethical multidisciplinary response, and the long-term impact of medical abuse on children and families. Jordyn Hope combines professional expertise with survivor-informed insight to help professionals move beyond stereotypes and simplistic narratives while increasing confidence in recognizing patterns of concern.
