My ladder of career moves makes for quite the story but what I've learned is that the bits that matter most are everything in between the rungs of that "ladder".

The lessons that taught me how to roll up my sleeves, how to ask for an opportunity, how to show up for my colleagues, how to empathize with the communities we work with, how to navigate the personal and professional intersection are what have shaped my leadership skills and really what have led to my professional accomplishments. The vulnerability of these stories in between the runs of the ladder is the fodder for my upcoming book.
