The Tribeca Festival, presented by AT&T, today announced the 2021 jury members who will select winning projects in the film, immersive, games and the festivals all new podcasts competition sections. The Festival has increased to 14 different competition categories where jurors will honor winning storytellers and creators with monetary awards and some will receive the soon to be announced unique Tribeca Festival Art Award supported by CHANEL where each year ten world-class artists donate work to be presented as an award to honored filmmakers.

Lesli Klainberg has been appointed executive director of the Film Society of Lincoln Center, the arts non-profit announced on Friday. Eugene Hernandez, the org’s longtime director of digital strategy, has been promoted to the newly created position of deputy director.

The change, modeled on Jazz at Lincoln Center, has been in the works for years. Lesli Klainberg, the group’s executive director, described the move as primarily an effort to broaden the institution’s appeal and reach a wider audience.

Lesli Klainberg has been named executive director of the Film Society of Lincoln Center. She had been serving as interim executive director since December, when Rose Kuo stepped down as executive director.
