Of all of the quality processes and tools, which ones should we be using today? Unfortunately, many organizations determine the “right” quality process or tool based on “what’s the latest fad” whether it’s Six Sigma, Lean, Innovation, Project Management, Cost of Quality, etc. They identify these fads through articles, blogs, conference presentations, etc. As quality leaders we’re so eager for some magical cure to our challenges that we rush to embrace these fads and when they fail to deliver quick results, we drop them and move to the next one.
