We live in an us-versus-them culture. It can be ethnically, or it can be politically. You can be for CNN or for Fox. The world we live in has caused us to think there are only two options. However, there is a third option: This is an option where we honor and place value on what we have in common.
We have more things in common than our differences. We all want to have relationships. We all want to have a nice house and nice car. We all want to have a family.
Miles discusses The Third Option in his presentation, and introduces how this transformative solution addresses the root of these disputes and concerns by honoring our similarities while celebrating our differences. Miles shares his own divers past, and gives real life solutions to an issue that we all face.
The Third Option tenets are outlined in a book Miles authored in 2018. At the end of his presentation, individuals will have knowledge and tools to navigate through our diverse world while treating others and themselves with honor.
