Mira Sorvino, UNODC Goodwill Ambassador to Combat Human Trafficking, brings first hand knowledge of the scourge of human trafficking and the empowering message of how we all can be key players in stopping it. Her work has taken her across the globe where she has collaborated with governments, NGOs and the private sector. She has interviewed scores of survivors and even a trafficker, and their stories will inspire audience members to get involved. In addition, she has fostered the passage of federal and state legislation that has helped not only trafficking but sexual violence and domestic abuse survivors and will share how to support current bills on these topics.
