“Wake Up, World” (2023)

Wake Up, World follows a young boy who decides to take climate matters into his own hands by making small changes in his lifestyle that has everyone from his friends and family to his school and community making more sustainable choices - ultimately, laddering up to greater societal and policy change. The lesson the book intends to impart is one of hope, rather than sadness - a feeling that can be common amongst children who learn about climate change for the first time. Inspiring children to know that they can make a difference, with the ultimate goal of engaging more eco conversations in the classroom and beyond and promoting kids to embark on their own sustainability journey.
