Tim Brooks, who guided toymaker Lego Group’s push for plastics alternatives and the shape of its net-zero goals for 12 years, has joined naxolone maker Hikma Pharmaceuticals as chief sustainability officer. Brooks started his new job Dec. 1 and switched industries because of the opportunity to shape the delivery of affordable medicine, he said in the LinkedIn post Dec. 2 announcing his new job.
Tim Brooks, who drove sustainability efforts at The LEGO Group for more than a decade, has taken on the top sustainability role at Hikma Pharmaceuticals. Brooks was Head of Sustainability at the toymaker since 2016, but joined the company as Director of Environmental Sustainability in 2012. (LEGO appointed its first Chief Sustainability Officer, Annette Stube, at the start of 2024.)
