“It went splendidly! Victoria had obviously done her homework on the industry and tailored many of her remarks directly to it; she said during her presentation that she even spent a little time in the hotel bar the night before and chatted with some people participating in our conference. And she even challenged the audience a little, which I had encouraged her to do. Overall, it was very entertaining and interesting, and our audience responded well. The room was packed, and she received several really good questions at the end. Our editor who interviewed her after the presentation said she was very nice and easy to interview; then they went to the meet and greet, where Victoria very graciously chatted with people, took photos with them and stayed way longer than the 30 minutes in the contract! Lisa (the editor) was hovering nearby to help Victoria escape if she wanted to, but she seemed to want to keep chatting. So we let her! ”
