Why the hardest part of the transition is leadership, not technology.

Today, emissions from power industry is responsible for more than 40% of the overall carbon dioxide emissions, being the largest contributor to worsening climate change. On the other hand while the world is navigating through energy transition, the earlier version of energy dilemma has now become "energy trilemma" where the stakeholders need to solve for affordability, reliability and sustainability at the same time.

With new technologies being deployed together with the acceleration of AI in the systems, the energy transition also becomes a leadership topic for the nations, companies and institutions that are shaping our today as well as our future. The session grounds the audience on the key pillars of energy transition, the technologies being deployed and currently being developed that will shape the future of energy, the challenges and the opportunities in a non-engineered and human perspective, underpins the importance of leadership required to tackle the climate change challenge and calls to action in their respective fields of activity.
